It's relatively lightweight and its 103 square inch head offers a large sweet spot and extra power, while its 16 main strings and 15 cross strings create the Wilson Spin Effect technology that helps impart topspin on shots that help control the racquet's power and keep balls in the court. The Wilson 100ULS IS An Underrated Racquet
Some online reviews say this racquet is for beginners, or kids. Nothing could be further from the truth. Sure, it's an ultra light-weight racquet, but it's loaded with both power and spin, in addition to being super maneuverable and quick to the ball. The light weight and 100sq in head size also add up to a great stick at the net. Is it unconventional? Yes. Is it effective. You bet. Someone told me, "It's a girls' racquet." I replied, "I'm a 6'2" and 225-pound man. It ain't no girls' racquet, when I hit with it. Trust me." It may not be for everyone, but if you have a chance, take this one out for a demo and don't decide until you play some points with it. You may be happily surprised.
