Slow sustained writes

This SSD yields acceptable read speeds. The write speed is only good for writes under 10GB., where the cash masks the slow underlying write speed of the chips. Sustained write speed is more like a hard-drive, not like an SSD. Still usable as a boot drive or drive for games or holiday snaps, as these use cases are write (not much more than) once / read multiple. Don't use for video editing or other write intensive applications. +++ Only the current stiff market for NAND products prevented me from returning the item.
