Dovo Straight 3" Carbon Steel Razor Blade w/Prima Steel Black Ebony Wood Handles

Great Straight Razor!!!!

I now have enough time/experience with this blade to give it a review. Well, I could use a bit more experience. Bottom line, I thought it could be a bit sharper in terms of "shave ready". HOWEVER, my face is hard to shave with my barbed wire hair, I am learning. So for most folks it will be more than shave ready. As straight razors go, it is excellent!!! I am still learning how to use it but every time I pick it up shaving gets a bit smoother/easier to do and am almost down to zero nicks during the process. :-). Aesthetically, this razor looks great. So it just adds to the experience. Functionally, I am sure it also performs great. I am still striving for greatness but improvements will need to come from me as the razor is just fine. :-) Bottom line, I recommend this razor for use. Give it a try. If it feels like it is pulling hairs too much, it just needs to be properly honed/sharpened. You can hone it yourself (easy to do if you are interested in that; I hone mine with a 12,000 grit stone), or send it out to be honed by a professional. You won't be disappointed when it is properly shave ready.

The title says it all. Makes French recipes available to Americans and includes those specific details necessary to get it right.

I have only tried one recipe so far; the mushroom soup recipe. It was awesome!!! So far am enjoying the book.
