Coddles you with its features, punches you in the gut with its sound - for a reasonable price!
For $400 you'll be hard pressed to find another pair of powered speakers with this sound quality and feature set. Placed properly on homemade stands, I've easily managed a soundstage that stretches past the speakers, and behind them. If you're not handy, you can buy a pair of stands that match the wood panelling perfectly, right from Edifier.
They've totally exceeded my expectations. I've only had 3 way tower speakers in the past- Klipsch, Martin Logan, Wharfedale... this is my first set of bookshelf/monitors, and the first time I've gone without an amp and preamp. I am really impressed with bass extension that belies their size. I will very likely buy a second pair for my living room to replace a soundbase my wife and son use regularly.
I'm an imaging/soundstage/detail addict- and these are feeding my addiction with gusto! I can't say anything other than that if you're on the fence, just buy them. They are pretty to look at, pretty to listen to, and far more convenient that any 2 channel setup I've used in the past 15 years.

I'm a huge fan of hi-viz stuff- clothes, accessories, anything. These joy cons make it clear to anyone who knows me exactly whose joy cons they are!

Unexpectedly useful little wallet!
I'm a dad, but I'm not a fan of the "dad wallet." You know, the old bifold leather, dictionary-sized wad of cards and bills that makes a man sit unevenly even on cushioned furniture? This wallet- though traditional looking at first glance- is a marvel of good ideas in a tight little package.
The money clip- works better than I thought it would, and is MUCH more convenient for finding the bill(s) you need quickly in comparison to digging through a slit sized pocket.
Trap door card holder- There is this red tag on the side of the wallet, and I could not at first figure out just why it was there. Lo and behold, it's a quick release for a hidden side-pocket, for cards that you might not need as frequent access to (bank card, library card, whatever). There are two regular slide-in card pockets on the interior, opposite the ID window, that I use for my high-mileage cards.
In all, a great value and a fantastic design. It's shorter than your average bifold, and is slimmer than I was expected in overall width. I'm very happy with the purchase, and if you're looking for a low(ish) profile wallet, you can't go wrong with this one.
