The holy grail of thermostat housing gaskets
I gotta admit - this is the greatest thermostat housing gasket ever created. I have a 40+ year-old aluminum intake manifold, and a 50+ year-old steel thermostat housing. Both are pitted, and needed careful application of sealant to last...for a while.
This silicone version is nice and thick, and sealed the first time, with no sealant. The car even overheated while I was using it (unrelated to the gasket) and it stayed dry! I am very impressed.

Fits nicely, looks to be very high quality materials, installation went smoothly.

This is the good stuff
Dandy bolts. Washers help spread the load, and the fastener lube included helps ensure valid torque readings.
