Old-timer and long time pressure lantern collector, just selling off some lanterns and other bits and pieces, trying to make ends meet in times of economic stress! I've been using eBay since 1998. Currently in Northampton UK, but formerly in Brixworth (UK), Higham Ferrers, (UK), Toowoomba (Queensland) and Perth (Western Australia). I'm a Chartered Engineer, with a first class honours degree in Life Sciences and a PhD in Soil Physics.

Excellent
Our wild birds love these, and it's amazing how they keep coming back for more. The sunflower hearts are good quality, well packaged, delivered quickly, and really do look good enough to eat! Thank you.

Failed after 12 months
Bought one of these last year to replace a 30 year old programmer on a fully pumped system that was working ok but just looked a bit scruffy. The SunPro2000 was easy enough to install once the wiring was checked. It worked just fine for several months, but now, oddly, the operation of the CH and HW system does not always match the indicators on the SP2000. It will say heating "on", but the boiler doesn't fire up (yes, the room stat is calling for heat). Toggling the boost button or the programme select button usually brings it to life, but not always. The same thing happens with the hot water. The indicator lights on the SP2000 sometime look dim, then come on brightly whe buttons are toggled, accompanied by a click from the relay, then everything works ok for a while. When the next timed programme switching occurs, the system goes random again, always with the indicator lights on at correct times but no activity on the system. Googling seems to indicate that I'm not alone with this problem, so I plan to remove the programmer and install a different make. There are no problems with any other parts of the system, all valves and thermostats work properly. I know the SP2000 is faulty because the sound of the relay operating does not always match the indicator lights.
