Comfortable, Well Made, Good Value
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Have put 90 miles (total) on these grips, and I like them very well -- especially considering the price.
This spring, after 40+ years of not riding a bicycle, I bought an entry-level MTB. A lifetime of riding motorcycles hard has left my hands and wrists pretty beat-up. The MeetLock grips are a huge improvement in comfort. (My wife's MTB has similar palm-rest grips, so I thought they would help.)
The locking feature is a necessity. I like that the grips are large but if you are weight-obsessed, they are pretty heavy. Prior to purchase, I was not sure if I would like the horn feature -- but definitely do. It's nice to have a variety of hand positions. Previously, I found myself riding no-handed quite a bit but after getting the handlebar width/height correct, and now these grips, that is no longer necessary (but is still fun).
Note that grip position is critical to getting a good compromise between palm rest and horn grip. A few degrees of rotation makes a noticeable difference -- take Allen wrenches along on your initial rides. I find the concept of "stacked joints" helpful, i.e., have your wrist joint in line with your forearm.

Trail Tech managed to improve something I thought was perfect.
I've used the older "silver" version of this product in the past and loved it. Had assumed they just changed the color and moved the programming button to the front -- boy was I wrong! Trail Tech has made a 5-star product into a 6-star product by adding a time-of-day clock and a resettable hour meter in addition to the permanent hour meter. I also appreciate that the max RPM telltale now stores that value until reset. The selector button is a bit small, but it is in keeping with the scale of the rest of the unit. Brilliant!
P.S. to get the tach to read most accurately, experiment with the number of coils wrapped around the spark plug wire. I've generally used 5 to 9 turns. This product will read RPM accurately on a bike that a digital timing light's tachometer would not.
EDIT: After using this for a month, I can definitely say the button is too small. It's impossible to use with even the thinnest glove. I end up pressing it with a fingernail. Still 5 stars though.

This is an awesome toothbrush! Acquired after my first Oral-B snapped the metal shaft that oscillates the brush head. My first Oral-B was made in Germany and lasted at least 10 years, maybe more. Its Ni-MH battery and motor worked flawlessly the entire time. This new 1500 was also made in Germany and uses a Li-Ion battery. It oscillators faster than my original Oral-B. Here's hoping it lasts as long as its predecessor. P.S. "Mode 3" is like a party in my mouth!
