well of lost plots-jason fforde

for book/word lovers - The series becomes a guilty pleasure - I started w/the Eyre Affair- and it was -" what on earth!!!" but then that's the point - it is not earth but an alternate variety thereof where book characters are real and people actually queue up to buy books-wasn't sure at first whether I liked it or not - then kept going - have gone thru 4 at this point -the reader is excellent by the way. I thought perhaps Well of Lost Plots was the weakest of the four. My daughter, by the way, hated the Eyre Affair so this is one of these series you either like or loathe.

a children's movie for everyone who likes history

even tho - a childrens movie - enjoyed by adults as well - we are into the World War II mode - right now - winston Churchill et all - also the Sharp's series w/ Bonaparte - so interesting - --done very well -
