well known US company / made in china
this tape measure is very well designed in concept until you handle it. one day of use rendered a crack in the tape. i imagine the lock button will fail due to the plastic breaking from normal use in time as well.

seems fairly heavy duty, larger than you would expect
the plastic is somewhat translucent so you can see your chalk levels, cool feature. this is not manufactured in japan or the usa like i thought at first but still operates nicely. the only thing missing is a belt clip because this sucker isnt fitting in your pocket!

Got the DVD as a gift for the grandkids. They love it! Good quality DVD, no issues, good content.
