Nice board
This board is a step down from my old board, but not by much. My old board was a Biostar TA790GXE which fried very randomly one day. For the price I paid, this board is an excellent replacement.

Eddings was a master
I read this book shortly after its release in 1988. I was heavily into Piers Anthony and ordered this through the Sci-Fi Book Club. It was weird starting with Book 2 in a series but was drawn in quickly and became a lifelong fan of David (and Leigh) Eddings. I would strongly recommend Eddings fantasy works to anyone looking for a strong adventure series in the vein of Tolkien.

Great Show - Mediocre Box Set
18 von 19 finden das hilfreich I am only reviewing the Box Set itself. This is easily one of my Top 5 shows of all time! That being said, this Box Set would be an incredible deal at any price if the video quality weren't so poor and if the packaging were just a bit better. The packaging is decent as far as the printed cardboard parts and the green plastic outer cover is concerned. The disc trays are just 2-disc plastic trays (the discs overlap on the tray) that have clear packaging tape holding them together like a book spine. Not horrible, but I believe this has caused minor scuff marks on the discs. Packaging aside, the video quality is almost pathetic for the various episodes. The first disc I pulled out and tested was from Season 3 (Disc 1, I think). When this show was in Netflix, the quality was great. I believe they actually dropped the video quality for this box set. There is an massive amount of pixelization in the video and digital artifacts around the on-screen graphics which were definitely not there on the Netflix versions. I played these disc on several computers with various DVD or Blu-Ray readers/burners and in a Samsung Blu-Ray player connected to a 40" 720p TV and on every system the quality was not great. In my opinion, the only thing holding this set back from being 5 stars is the video quality. Rather unfortunate way to treat such a great show's legacy.
