Good buy for the money
Not indestructible, but they lasted 4 years in the AZ sun and soaked by the chlorinated pool water every time we put it back into the pool. The Velcro(R) tabs provided for the real didn't last so long, but the straps were great. I replaced the peel and stick Velcro hook-side with industrial grade Velcro, and they continued to work just fine. What eventually got them was just the weather and chlorine. Good buy.

Great addition to the pool tools
These filter socks will screen out the smallest stuff, protect your pump from pine needles, absorb the suntan oil and sunblock from the humans, and catch the hair from the dogs. Great for any pool.
They will clog up fast if you're in the process of cleaning up after the winter layover or dealing with an algae bloom, so you may want to keep them out of play for that, but, otherwise, great stuff.

Great cover
Much better than the cheaper cover I bought before. My pool is 18x36 and I bought this because the one that was sized for it had shrunk to where it barely covered it at all. This one is heavier and it apparently is keeping the water in the pool because there's been no appreciable drop in water level. Very happy with it.
