Sweet Reel
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Got to use this reel for the first time yesterday. I spooled it up with 65lb braid and use it for my light halibut set up and jigging for rockfish/lingcod. The reel is glass smooth, casts excellent, and has plenty of power for bringing in large fish. I think I'm gonna buy a few more!!!

Slow and Steady Wins the Race
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich So far I have 6 coats on the stock and it looks excellent. Make certain to follow the instructions and allow adequate drying time between coats. I used a "dry-box" at 110 F and still gave it 3 days between coats. Be patient and let each coat cure fully. Lastly, don't use any of the "green" mineral spirits when mixing with this oil. The normal clear odorless type works fine, but not the "green" type.
