My favorite yarn
My favorite yarn, especially for baby & toddler sweaters. Works up easily, washable, soft to the skin. Good variety of colors.

Meh!
I'm not as impressed as I expected to be with this product. At the beginning of stitching, it doesn't always prevent the "bird's nest" of thread caused by the bobbin from spinning too fast.

Great sewing aid!
I've been sewing for more than 50 years and I don't know why I didn't treat myself to this product years ago. It's a necessity for the serious sewer, especially when ripping out. The price I paid was extremely reasonable and it works well. One word of caution: cushion the surface with a thick piece of fabric or fleece on which the bird will be clamped so the brass doesn't damage the surface or underside.
