Traxxas 2.5 Head Guard Black 2.5 RPM RPM80502

Do not recommend, get the Traxxas guard

Ran about 3 tanks of nitro on my T Maxx but on the final run, I could see that the tabs that insert into the head were melted. When I tried to remove the guard, the tabs broke off and are now stuck inside the engine so now I have to either drill them out, or get the engine warmed up and hopefully the plastic softens enough that I can remove the tabs. I'm quite upset since RPM makes some amazing parts and have not had any trouble with any of their other parts on my RCs. I would not recommend this part to anyone, you are better off getting the stock Traxxas guard.
