Excellent Battery
Needed a new battery for a Timex watch and this is the one that was listed. A good, long-lasting battery so I probably won't need another one for quite a while.

Better than the original.
I ordered this to replace a defective latch. Since I didn't need the outside handle, this looks like a good way to repair it. The installation would have gone quickly except for the fact that the operating shaft that goes through the door was 1/4" too long, which kept the new latch from fitting up against the door. The shaft was already in the door, it wasn't a part of the new latch. I had to grind a quarter of an inch off the shaft an everything went smoothly. Of course I had to re-adjust the keeper. The new latch works better than the original. because the lock slider is easier than what was there before.

If you are looking for a compact, lightweight camera to carry in your pocket-keep looking! This camera is neither compact nor lightweight. It has the heft and feel of a classic 35mm SLR. It is huge by today's standards, but the weight and size make it easy to handle and operate. Camera movement during a photo has ruined many shots, but a heavier camera is less likely to move than a lightweight.
The big LCD screen is easy to see and compose your photo. There is no optical viewfinder but that is not a drawback.
The 1.3mp resolution sounds very low considering today's digital cameras run well over 8mp. That means you can't expect to make sharp 8x10 prints, just 3x5 or so. But 1.3mp is perfect for internet photos. Most photos that you upload are limited to about 72dpi and they look just great when you view them.
This camera is a workhorse for eBay sellers. You can get good close-ups and view your composition easily, and end up with photos that are ready to upload without having to trim them down to the proper dpi.
Finally, you can store your photos on plain, ordinary 1.4mb floppy disks! It has a built-in floppy drive instead of a memory card. It not only can use standard floppy disks, but also the 120mb Superdisks! You can take a lot of photos on one Superdisk and then insert the disk in your PC Superdisk drive to transfer the photos to your PC. If you don't have a Superdisk drive, the camera can be connected to your PC with a USB cable.
All in all, this camera is great if you want to take photos that will be uploaded to the internet. Just don't expect to put it in your pocket.
