Rugged and works great for backpacking!
It's a solid, impressive little unit. It's great for backpacking.
I bought it to keep my smart phone charged when day hiking. I burn through the battery quick since I'm constantly taking pictures and using the GPS. I hang the solar panel off my backpack and run the USB cable to my phone in my hip pocket. The phone stays plugged into the panel all day, as my cord is long enough to use my phone without unplugging it. This way I know my phone is always charged, just in case! It's been working great! The solar panel often isn't at optimal angle to get full Sun since it's just hanging off my backpack, but it still keeps my phone fully charged. (Or within a few percent)
I like that it folds over to protect the solar cells, for those times when I do want to store it away in my backpack.
I haven't had the panel very long, but the few times I've used it, I've been very impressed with it! I prefer it to a little USB power bank because as long as the Sun returns, I can recharge things "indefinitely."
I've also bought a USB light bulb and a power bank which turned out to be a great setup at home for when we lost power during the last storm. This panel would recharge the power bank all day, then I'd have some light for hours into the night.

Great panel for car camping!
It's flexible enough I don't have to worry about it being a flat surface and I've seen over 3 amps out of it on sunny days. It's light weight which is great since I use it for car camping to keep the battery charged on the car from recharging flashlights, phones and running the interior lights.

Runs true.
The Morse Taper adapter seems to be of good quality steel and more importantly, it runs true. I can't detect any run out. It stays in the lathe tailstock without slipping, and it also holds the drill bits well.
