Prevention better than Cure
Why would an opportunist thief risk the possibility of thieving from you when there are less risky targets down the street? Of course, this assumes they are not illiterate.

Excellent Mini Vernier
The absolute largest diameter that can be measured using these calipers is just 40mm. This is limited by the length of the arms which are 20mm long.
This could be a significant factor for some users.

Hot stuff.
For little more than the price of a decent skinny latte, you can learn about the ambient conditions of your surroundings and alarm yourself should you doze off in Patisserie Valerie. You can't expect perfect plastic mouldings for a fiver but hey, this kit works, it's highly visible and all the controls are on the front so I can mount it flat on a wall.
