MRC 1/35 Vietnam US Army Bell UH-1C Huey Heavy Hog Gunship Model Helicopter Kit

MRC Quality

Excellent basic Heavy Hog. Lots of room to super detail by scratch or brass set. Going to dress mine up 48th AHC Jokers. Skill Not Luck. With FIGURES. Well, pilot copilot and crew chief/ m-60 gunner...I have not tried the other 1/35 UH-1C/D's(Panda), so I can't compare to MRC. This is a sure deal. Engine and gearbox included. You may have to add aerials, extra pitots...I would substitute clear red and green styrene for the lights...Check Kitty Hawk for updates...This kit is about $60+ now...May be worth it.

Superb Tamiya Engineering. Colorful.

Excellent Tamiya engineering. Sure fit, strong engraving. Easy assembly. This model comes with a nose weight, large colorful decal sheets, and a seated pilot. Tamiya also offers bomb stores and extra fuel tanks. No HVAR's, though. Revell/ProModeler also very good, and must be considered. Tamiya air brake simplified one piece styrene; Revell air brake has photo etch. Revell also features clear inboard wingtip lights, but are molded solid on Tamiya. I have three of these. EXCELLENT VALUE. Must have 1950's iconic jet.
