Great sounds, great features, poor velocity pad response

I'm very happy I purchased this. I sold my TR-8 to help fund it because this has got all the sounds of the TR-8 plus the ability to load your own samples and a host of new features such as per track last step setting, new effects, and motion recording. This thing is fantastic. My only gripe is the velocity pad. Even under "light" sensitivity setting its dynamic range is miniscule. It's very hard to get a decent soft hit on this thing which really is its whole purpose. So if that might be a deal breaker for you, try it out in store. I really hope this can be fixed in firmware.
