Transmission Control Module easy replacement.
A search of Google suggested that I install a new TCM. Really? A new one is pretty expensive for a 20-year-old car. How about a like new used one? It worked perfectly. Thank you.

Every Hollywood Star Wanted a Camneo--and Got It!

Much of this is not quite correct, but entertaining nonetheless. It is great fun to pick through the scenes and pass judgement on which are historically correct.

Brass Door Knobs
It is difficult to buy replacement older-style spindle door knobs because there was little standardization in "the old days" and nothing improved after metric was added to the mix. In my case these knobs were a little smaller at the contact area with the door plate (not replaced) than the originals, so they wobble a little. Old knobs could not be used with new spindle because the threads were different. Also these knobs are light-weight two piece rather than the solid brass knobs they replace. Overall good value for the money.
