it just works
Really good product, well thought out, rock-solid performance, easy to set up. With 3 of these little items, we now have reliable WiFi throughout our large 4-story Georgian stone house. Amazing!

Not good enough
This is not good enough. The plastic base is not flat but curved up so it won't seal properly. The only way to get it flat would be to fix the base down with screws into what it sits on - not feasible in my case. So a complete waste of money.

Great thermostatic controller
I'm using two of these to control fans in radiator enclosures. The fans are at the front of the enclosures, blowing warm air out at the top and making the radiators more able to warm the room. The controller has adjustable set point - I've set mine to 30 C so that when the radiator heats up to 30 the fans turn on. The sensor sits directly on the radiator so detects when hot water is coming into the rad.
You can set a number of variables on the device and it's easy to use and set up.
My only quibble is that the sensor is on a ridiculously short wire - only 25cm or so - which severely limits the flexibility in positioning. I've knocked off a star because of that.
