Quad;give your ears a real treat great value on ebay great british product

What can I say about this amp thats not already been said,after 30 years of ownership it was time to upgrade my mush loved quad 33/303/FM3 and a pair of Linn Kan speakers which I still have ,I just can't part with them.. I decided to buy,what will be the last amp I ever buy,the style of the 44/405/FM4 has always taken my fancy so the choice was made.A couple of weeks watching the prices on Ebay and then bingo a complete Quad 44/405/FM4 in near mint condition came up for acution with all the leads in Folkstone,offerded as collection only so you don't get as many bidders as normal. Well the acution ended on Christmas day and I was a winner It don't happern often. I would need a new set of speakers to handle the extra power of 405 and settled on a pair of Tannoy floor standing models rated at 100 watts to match the amp...well I wired it all up .. first inpressions where good as i had to run the speakers in for a week and move them about abit to find the sweet spot but now the system just seems better every time I turn it on the amp has plenty of power for my open plan grond floor house and fills the room with nice clear sound .loads of good punching base if thats what like or gentle on the ear with great midrange and treble tones the Quad will do what ever you ask no priblem and still looks good while it's doing it.... There is always plenty of upgrade options for those who like to tinker,stacks of spares on Ebay.and being Quad you can always send it back to Quad in Huntingdon for a service if thats what you want.. So go on treat your ears,you only ever get one pair buy them a Quad system ,and it's a nice way to let he world know what there missing as well Thanks to Ebay I own one....

Hobby car spraying

I found this very easy to spray, but don't put to many coats on as it tends to move more to the blue end of the spectrum, so a couple of light coats then back it with white for best results, always do a test on something first. I would say no more than 3 light coats 2 if you can get away with it. if you want to stay purple..
