Good adapter
It has excellent analogue signal both video and audio.

Exact features and issues
Good points:
- It boots for the fist time in about 1 minute
- Fast menu navigation
- virtually no noise while operating on RCA outputs
- Very powerful speaker
- Clear sound on internal speaker
- Impressive sound clarity for Bluetooth, Lightning DOCK, DLNA (Local Network), Internet radio, FM Radio.
- FM Radio analog audio is somehow digitally reshaped so that the sound is better on it's internal speaker. Not good to listen via external amplifier.
- Can connect to hidden WiFi networks as you have the possibility to manually enter the SSID
- Very fast text search function via on screen keyboard (Internet Radio, Network Audio DLNA)
To be improved:
- Creates punch noise at resume from standby (Power button pressed). If you use the unit on an external amplifier you should first power up this unit and then the amplifier
- Bluetooth audio has some issues when playing via iPhone (latest iOS) the volume is extremely low. To fix it you have to reset bluetooth settings from the device's menu and then do a hard reboot (unplug the device from AC socket)
- If you are playing internet radio and somehow the radio station is on a busy server / low banwidth, the device gets stuck in "connecting" or "buffering" and if you click "Back" the screen remains black. You have to unplug the device to fix it.
- For network audio, (DLNA) if your server is slow, then you might experience the same issue described above as in the Internet Radio.
- The device seems to have a low frequency filter applied to RCA / Headphones output so frequencies below 40Hz are not reproduced. If you are expecting deep bass on your external amplifier, then this is not the right unit for you.
- Remote control is generally usable just for volume control.
I granted 5 stars for the product as it totally deserves them, at this refurbished price

Functionality
Hello, I would like to share with you the experience I had with this product.
Tested telephones iPhone XS, 6S, SE, 5S with latest iOS for each device category.
Car Headunit: Audi Concert CD Player (made by Grundig)
Now the good part.
- while in bluetooth music streaming the audio quality is excellent.
- Installation: very easy! But first you need to have the advertised adapter for the mini iso connector.
And now: ...
- when you are on FM/AM radio or CD and your bluetooth paired telephone rings, you can not answer the phone or hear it ring through the car’s speakers unless you switch the source to CDC(the emulated cd changer). Even if the pictures in the product’s add, confirmation by the seller and manual illustrate it can answer while in FM/AM radio mode with your car’s player
- when in CDC mode and you try to answer the ringing phone (press previous track button on the car’s player as per instructions) the device answers but less than a second later it hangs up the phone.
- when you switch to CDC the music from the bluetooth telephone does not start playing. You have to grab your phone, unlock it and press the play button manually on the phone - very frustrating.
- when you want to answer the ringing telephone and you are on FM/AM you have to switch to CDC, grab your phone, answer the phone, switch from the phone to bluetooth audio device. Quite simple while you are in traffic....
