Great Rig
Just got this rig. I have a FT1000MP as my primary station transceiver and really like it lay out and easy of operation. Now I have this FT857D mobile rig. First time to own a HF mobile radio and for that matter one with VHF and UHF all mode capability. So far I like the operation of it very well. For a compact rig they have put a lot into it. Yaesu build very good equipment and engineer it well for easy of operation.
