Excellent Signal Generator beautifully restored
Perfectly restored and looks new. Just realigned an old radio and it's probably working better than is has in around 70 years!!! The Heathkit RF Generator made it possible.

Broke after only a few hours
The electrical connections on the tip are very delicate. My wife (adult 65 yrs old) enjoyed the 3d pen for about 3 hours before it quit heating. Although I am now retired (adult 63 yrs old) I was an electronics tech for many years and I know how to solder. I tried. But the wires in the tip are too short and delicate to stay soldered. After spending a couple of hours trying to repair the pen so my wife could continue enjoying it, I had to give up. The small, short wires simply would no longer stay soldered when the plastic filiment was passing through the tip. The softened, heated filiment would tear the wires from their soldered connections. We were both very disappointed. I had given the pen to my wife as a surprise since I knew she had wanted to try her hand with a 3d pen for a while. I wish I could give a better report, but the pen was weak on quality and design.
