Great For Combating Ugly Red Breakouts On Your Skin
Blue tansy oil became a thing a couple of years back after May Lindstrom launched her super-expensive Blue Cocoon facial balm. German chamomile oil is much cheaper than Blue tansy & just as effective. (They are 2 different species of plant but share similar chemical properties. Both contain chamazulene, a powerful anti-inflammatory.) This German chamomile from Plant Therapy isn't organic, but it's THE BEST thing I've found for treating red/inflamed blotches on my skin. I dilute it in a 1:3 ration (1 part German chamomile, 3 parts carrier oil) & keep the blend in a 5ml bottle in my medicine cabinet. After the invisible gremlins have bitten my face in my sleep & I wake up with an angry red blotch on my cheek, this oil blend knocks it right out. I do my usual facial cleansing routine, dab a couple of drops of the blend on my red spot & hop in the shower. By the time I've toweled myself dry, the red spot is GONE! Adding a few drops of undiluted German chamomile oil to my daily facial oil has greatly reduced the frequency of blotchy breakouts. I HIGHLY recommend this oil to anyone looking for a natural, plant-based treatment for red/blotchy skin. And don't be scared by the color -- once you rub it in, the blue disappears.

Good quality, as described.
I used this to make Nuoc Cham (Thai dipping sauce). It gave just the right amount of bite/sourness that I as looking for. I know Lactic acid is also used in making beer, but I doubt I'll be trying that.
