patience, will win the day
Please be aware that the NuForce DAC80 does take a long time to 'break in' at least 50 hours of continuous use.
However you will be well rewarded for your patience, strings will smooth out and will become almost liquid sounding.
Cello in particular having a lovely growl. Timing will improve allowing you to easily hear the interplay between the various instruments. To my ears it treats all music equally well from late night Jazz to full blown Orchestral and everything inbetween.
