  Tried returning product claiming it was a Chinese knockoff when its not.

  If it isn't a Chinese knockoff then you opened it and tampered with it or wherever you got it from tampered with it. I'm not stupid I can Google and read online that the auto-catchers are either knockoffs or modified and this is an auto-catcher. If I wanted an auto-catcher, I would have bought one of those and not a listing that says "Genuine". Also the battery only lasts about 12 hours which is another sign of being a knock-off. Sorry if you didn't realize what you had, but it is not "genuine".
