Wilson Combat Beavertail Grip Safety Fits Well
If you want to change from the duck bill grip safety that is standard on some Colt 1911s, this is a good replacement part. The finish is a good match to the Colt's matte bluing. It's a relatively easy installation requiring a little filing and fitting, but can usually be completed in well under an hour. (Search youtube if you need instructions.) The end result provides a higher grip without concerns of hammer bite or the discomfort the duck bill can bring to the web of the hand after many rounds. It looks good too!

8 von 8 finden das hilfreich The Nikon D700 may "only" be a 12 megapixel camera, but with its ability to shoot in low light with high ISOs, it's still a keeper. Shooting after dark, high ISOs still produce black backgrounds with no noticeable noise. Hand held shots are very viable even without fast glass. Images are sharp (partially depending on the quality of lens used) and the D700's internal corrections produce very pleasing results. It's still a keeper more than a decade after its introduction.

Halogen Lights Look Like Tiki Torches In Comparison
Installed the Yumseen LED H4 lamps in a Cibié H4 conversion on a Toyota pickup. Mostly plug and play (needs a Canbus decoder installed for the high beam indicator to work in the instrument cluster of this particular application). These LED lamps are much brighter and whiter (6000°K) than the Sylvania SilverStar halogen capsules they replaced. They might work even better in projector housings, but even when used in this application (5 x 7 reflector housings) they really light up the road without blinding oncoming drivers. Periphery lighting is good on low beam and the high beam pattern is excellent, but much of this is due to the housing and lens construction. The cooling fans are only audible when the engine is not running and are not a distraction otherwise. No flickering or radio interference. While these have been in use for less than a week, at this point they get two thumbs way up! Deducted one star only because the headlights' rubber dust boots can't be installed behind the headlight housings with these.
