Solid, nicely finished
Not cheap, but solid, well-made and nicely finished. Would buy again.

Works well with a little modification.
I used this to mount an iPad Air 2, which fits fine. I found the clamp didn't grip a thin 14mm mic stand pole well, so I took out the rubber facing of the jaws and used a hard plastic cylindrical spacer originally intended for use on a bicycle frame. Works much better. Also, I shortened the main arm by about 9cm so that the weight of the iPad Air tablet doesn't topple my fairly flimsy, cheap mic stand.

Not well made
The plug fits very tightly in the socket and takes way too much force to pull it out. It's because the brass sleeve on the plug is crudely formed. I bought two and they were both the same. Maybe they were part of a bad batch - they didn't look nearly as well made as the one in the picture.
