Went smoothly

Solid amp
I did consider returning it because I didn't quite get the sound I wanted the first time I played through it and there is more low end (even with the bass turned down) than I normally like out of my amps but while it isn't as easy to just plug and play with this as it is to do with my blues junior I was able to get a beautiful tone out of it after I toyed around with it a little longer. Eventually I started playing mostly through the overdrive channel on extremely low gain (think around a 2) and that's how I get my perfect mix of highs and lows for a beautiful semi-clean/clean tone. The reverb is nice too. And while I still might like the low volume sound on my 15w Blues Junior a little bit more this blackstar doesn't break up nearly as much on higher volumes. So if you're like me and like to play Bobby Womack and Curtis Mayfield style clean soul but have to crank it up to sit in the mix with loud bands/drummers this amp works. And the burgundy tolex is beautiful. I absolutely would love to buy an artisan series but I can't justify the purchase right now and with this I got the beautiful look and can get beautiful tones with a little bit of toying. It also has a wonderful tone with a tube screamer but you knew that. I can't wait to experiment with the tubes when I change them.

Maybe my favorite sneaker of all time.
Man I wish I had gotten to play with the originals when Nike had used more quality materials and their original better technology. Although I still have three pairs of the modern Hawks now because this is the comfiest shoe I have. My adidas ultra and pure boosts don't rival them and they offer nowhere near the support. After recovering from acl reconstruction and my third arthroscopic meniscus repair, this is not only my most comfortable walking shoe but my favorite basketball shoe as well. My foot never slips out or slips on the blacktop. I feel safe and comfortable playing in them. Although I love these black and blue he got games so much this pair will never see the blacktop.
