7 von 8 finden das hilfreich With Intel bringing fierce competition in the form of their new Alder Lake cpu's, AMD Zen 3 chip prices have been reduced to all time lows. I had my heart set on a 5800x since the day it was announced but never did I expect to see a $450 msrp cpu marked down to sub $320. Thanks to antonline, I am now the proud owner of a blazing fast 8 core ryzen processor. I have only run a few benchmarks so far but the chip is performing as expected, which is to say it completely dominates my previous cpu which was an intel 4790. I am hoping to use this for the next 5 years.

Wish I bought this a long time ago.
I just connected this to my old router. Fast as my ethernet when I'm in the same room. Way better coverage than my older TP Link Archer. Wifi drops off to <50% max speed in my basement far corner but upstairs I get 60% in furthest corner of my house, which is 1000 sq feet per floor.
It gets pretty warm so I suspect it uses more power than my old router, which would be the only con I can think of.
