What I wanted
Though I wanted this particular kit and it was fine in all regards when it arrived, I think the idea of 'vintage' to make the price go up is a little skewed. I created this kit just about three years ago (far from vintage) with a far cheaper cost attached. Unfortunately a distraught father ran off with the one made and left baby girl without her Christmas stocking from her aunt. Thus...the required purchase. Gallery Stitches is also rather skimp on directions if you were a beginner. I have made several other felt kits that have much better directions. None of these comments are meant to put any disparaging idea for the seller...except maybe the price.
