It's what I was looking for!
The product works! I had to contact HP to set it up. No disc came with the product. HP doesn't include discs with their printers anymore, but a download is probably possible from the HP support site, or elsewhere on the internet. HP didn't think it would work because it's an old model and the download (form the disc I already had from a previous printer/copier of the same model) didn't seem to totally complete. I tried it. It works! I've had two other ones of the same model. It's good for printing and copying! I didn't use the included ink, since it expired 12 years ago. I just popped in the ink from my previous printer/copier of the same model. The product is just what I was looking for!
