Nice upgrade for triple core phenom 2s
This CPU should drop into your g1 socket and give you a nice speed and core bump if you have one of the 1.8 triple core phenom 2s. Check CPU-world for specs. Taking you laptop apart is non trivial, so don't attempt if you're not competent to do so. I also had to renew one of the 2mm heat sink pads which fell apart. The thermal envelope is 35w rather than 25w so make sure you clean the fluff out of those hard to reach places around the cooling fan when you have the laptop stripped. If you swap to an ssd you keep the overall system power budget pretty neutral.

Thoughtful and clever take on rather hackneyed subject
Bram Stoker's work is fairly well known but this film intertwines themes of love, dedication and ultimately sacrifice with the basic plot. Its not really a shocking or very scary movie by current standards but it poses some very challenging questions about the nature of relationships, what constitutes happiness and whether love is a fleeting or timeless thing. It is well worth a look if you've not seen it before, but make sure you observe the creatively worked sub plots - they leave you with the strongest lasting impression and there is a very positive though surprising ending.

Fastest montevina chipset cpu
if your laptop supports this generation of quads this is as fast as it gets. It does overclock too, though never reliably in my experience. So stick to standard clocks, pair with an ssd and your old laptop is good for a few more years happily running w10.
