Sweet Simplicity Doll pattern
I love this Simplicity 1178 doll pattern for 18 inch dolls. It should fit my Journey Girl dolls perfectly. I love that there are so many different outfits to choose from by mixing and matching the different pieces. For me, Simplicity makes the best doll patterns for any size doll you have. They are easy to understand, always up to date, and this company has been around for a long time. I'm from Canada, and we can no longer purchase Simplicity patterns here. I feel really bad about that, because I have been buying this companies patterns since I was 14 years old, and I'll be 59 this July 1st. I really miss being able to buy them here at my local Fabricville in Saint John, NB. I wish Simplicity would reconsider and start selling them in this country again.

Great Replacement set for AG Felicity, or Elizabeth
Bought these shoes and socks for my 2008 Mattel American Girl Felicity doll as she didn't have any because I bought her used. They are excellent quality, well made and look authentic. Very happy with them. However, they are too small to fit the Pleasant Company Felicity dolls made before Mattel took over Pleasant Company American Girl in 1998. Those Felicity dolls that were made before 2000, have larger feet and legs. Only slightly , but enough so that most modern American girl, or other 18 inch doll clothes won't fit them as well or sometimes not at all.
