Good for marine use
I previously had this same unit, but it recently failed to turn on. I was familiar with this unit so a logical choice for replacing. I use this unit for marine use and it operates like new. It is a older unit by very well built. I left the "reliable" box blank because I do not know how long it will perform. That said, the same unit, it is replacing, lasted for close to 10 years. It is slower, than newer models, to access satellites but once locked on it works well.
