Tack sharp. Tight fit.
Tack sharp. Tight fit. No ghost spot as usually advertised. I use it with an Arsat/Zodiak 30mm lens and it gives no vignetting, no glare, and is nice sharp almost till the edges at wide open f3.5 aperture. Stopping down from f5.6 to f8 gives tack sharp full image.

Not as sturdy as required for photo shooting in the woods.
I am very sorry, but I must be honest. The rubber detached itself from the ring already during insertion of the camera with lens with the hood into the photo-bag. The rubber is not really sturdy, rather flimsy, is little resistant, and does not stay nicely round. Lost the rubber again that fell into a brook during a shoot in the woods. Well, that was the end.

Easy to screw tight and easy to loosen
Needed a 105mm CPL onto an 18mm super wide angle lens with 72mm front diameter as to have no vignetting. Onto the 105mm CPL a spacer as a sunhood. A perfect combination that shows no vignetting. This 72-105mm step-up ring screws smoothly in and out, and the thread does not wear out quickly. Good value for money!
