I very good read especially if you are from the South or want to know more about the old South.
This book is an excellent look into life in the South after the Civil War. The writer uses his life experiences to take you back in time. The first chapter tells of the Tanglewood Plantation in Lee County, South Carolina where he grew up. Tanglewood is the old home place for the Smith Family of which I am one.
