What’s it like to live with bipolar disorder?
Mr. Jones (Richard Gere) is bipolar. His mania takes him to dizzying heights. His depression is debilitating. His therapist falls in love with him. But in her defense it’s easy to do. He is charming, handsome, and thoroughly vulnerable. This may not be Richard Gere’s best movie, but it may be his most touching performance. It’s an under-rated classic and an eye-opening look into the mind and life of an individual with bipolar disorder.
