Best by far in its price range

Being fairly new to home recording, I originally bought a mic and vocal preamp starter kit. I bought it purely for the condenser mic, and hadn’t given much thought to an audio interface. After noticing a lot of distortion (despite not clipping) I started to look into a better interface. The MOTU M2 had rave reviews in every video I watched, and after buying and using it, I can honestly say it is a phenomenal bit of kit! The LCD screen makes setting levels so easy, and thanks to the direct monitoring function, the major latency problem I had with my old set up, is a thing of the past. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced but high quality interface, you really can’t go wrong.
