Workhorse of the panzer division
Well made and excellently painted
This is a model of an important common late war tank that was the mainstay of the 1944 panzer divisions
It will no doubt be a favourite with model collectors and wargamers alike
It is in typical late war 3 colour camouflage which is difficult to paint in this scale

Not as detailed as the original series
This may be be because they now use a different plastic that has the distinct advantage that it can be glued with superglue
( repairs and conversions )
They are much more realistic in their painting
whereas the old series were distinctly Hollywood!
The new metal bases are also much improved in weight and color

Motorbike mania
Here is a well designed product that is posed in unusual but realistic way!
The German motorcycle troops were the reconnaissance spearhead of the bllizkrieg in the early war years
They are shown pushing their cycle a common enough scene in the Russian mud . In fact it was the rigors of the Russian terrain ther spelled the end of the blitzkrieg and the large scale use of motorcycle reconnaissance
Within the first year of the Russian campaign reconnaissance was done more and more by 4 wheeled light cars and later half tracks
