History Brought To Life
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The physical package is high quality, brand new, delivered in timely manner. I wanted this because I saw the mini-series years ago and I have the books. John James was a great historian (I'm a history teacher) and a talented writer. You could teach this period big American History with this series. Jakes is so good his characters mesh perfectly with historical figures and events. Through his characters, he shows all the myriad points of view and conflicts intertwined with personal narratives. The producers, writers, and cast did a terrific job of staying true to the books. I can't recommend this highly enough if you want real history and excellent entertainment.
