Bit difficult to get seated in the top b...
Bit difficult to get seated in the top bearing. Ended up leaving a gap between the end of the spring and the stop in the rubber cup as the best compromise. Maybe it will find its own way with use.

Works great. Charging gone from about 13...
Works great. Charging gone from about 13.9V to 14.3V. And went up up to 14.5V briefly which I have never seen on this old car. Old brushes nearly worn to limit.
