Erma Bombeck's wit and humor - a parent's lifeline to sanity. ;-)
1970's with 6 stairstep children. Make that "active" children. Draw your own conclusions. Bombeck wrote, "Parenting is not a religious experience". I read that and she became my instant lifeline, my "port in the storm", my hero. Humor - every parent's sanity saver - especially those of us with multiples who were themselves inventive adventurous comedians.
