A timeless classic with a bonus

This is an excellent port of a timeless classic with a bonus for those with a Super Game Boy cartridge for the Super Nintendo. Pop it in the Super Game Boy and get four faithful representations of various iterations of the arcade classic on your TV. The gameplay may seem simplistic today, but it’s still surprisingly satisfying. I’m happy to have this version of Space Invaders in my collection.

Nostalgia in a cartridge

While it’s a somewhat simplistic shooter by today’s standards (or even yesterday’s), there’s something special about Xevious. Perhaps I’m just looking at it through nostalgic glasses, but it’s fun to have a hard copy again to fire up when I need to be taken back to the ‘80s. I’m happy to have it in my collection.
