It works, it's cheap to buy.
I have glued it to the panels in my van, which helps to keep the heat out, but it's not fully efficient with just one layer. Then I left a small cavity of about ten mm, and fitted a sheet of 25 mm well known insulation board. then another small cavity, and finally another layer of this insulation. Works great.
One good thing is that this insulation, is very easy to work with, it sticks down well with adhesive, and cheap enough to be able to use multi layers. It's easy to cut, tear resistant, and very effective.
For full efficiency, you must create cavity's and seal any joints with foil tape.

Noisy fan
It's very noisy for its size, which is seven inch not eight. There is a lot of vibration that makes the noise, not the best thing to leave on whilst you sleep.

don't waste your time with these lights.
Not what I would call a decent light, and to top it off they sent a blue not white light.
