Good overclocker, great value
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Basically a well-binned i7 5930k for cheap. It's multiplier unlocked and overclocks like a champ! I got 4.1ghz on 1.15 volts! I'm positive I could go higher too, but the extra heat and/or time for fine tuning isn't worth it to me. It's cooled quite adequately by a CM 212 Evo Black edition, never reaching 70 C under load. Overclocked, it's better than a ryzen 1600, but even cheaper.
X99 Motherboards aren't easy to find cheaply, but if you can find one they're fantastic.

Good performer, runs cool
'slotted right into a dell XPS studio 435, and performs great. The fan is much quieter than with the former 130w cpu because there is much less heat to dissipate, and the performance is still great. I would overclock is the dell allowed it, but it works fine as-is.
