This game really stimulates your 'Gray Matter'!
While this may be an older game, I found the graphics, storyline, & gameplay absolutely first rate!
I really enjoyed the dual character gameplay, and thought this feature was employed in the best possible way to advance the story, while adding an addition dimension to the game.
The element of magic was also used in an entirely new & differect way which was a lot of fun to learn & use.
The ending was great, and while challenging, the goal was realistic to achieve, and not frustrating.
As an expirenced gamer, I absolutely loved this game and would enthusiastically reccommend it others.

The Black Mirror
The Black Mirror is your basic point-and-click adventure game - not the best gaming expirience, but certainly far from the worse.
Straightforward investigation and interaction with characters and environment. The lead character is somewhat wooden - could have more personality.
I liked the virtual map, which adds new areas as the game progressed, and allows the player to jump back-and-forth between locations by clicking a site on the map. Not origional, but very usefull.
The game is well rendered, and the detail is quite good. Unfortunately, it does not allow a lot of interaction with objects. However, this also is a plus when tying to figure out how to move to the next level. Once the key elements are discovered, it's relatively easy to move along.
There are not a lot of puzzles in this game, and those which are encountered are not too difficult. The tile puzzle is one which may test the patience and skills of most average players. Patience IS the key though.
Overall, I liked this game a lot. It delivers exactly the expirience which I believe that most players are looking for in an Adventure game, and I would definately reccommend it.

2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Syd Barrett died in July, and upon hearing the news of his death, I began a Pink Floyd retrospective, as this band was a favorite of mine, their music providing the soundtrack to many trips and adventures which I embarked on in my youth.
I began my retrospective by reading Nick Mason's book Inside Out, and I then wanted their music and videos to create a chronigraphical perspective to accompany the facts from the book.
Since Syd was only with the band for the first two albums, it is extremely difficult to obtain video of the band with Syd during that period of time.
This DVD provides an excellent portrait of him, with rare footage of him, along with comments from band members, friends, musicians and journalists.
What I found of particular interest, were the thoughts and impressions from Roger Waters. His insights and observations of him were quite interesting and profound. His description of this bright and brilliant young musicians short career were quite poigniant, and delivered with humor, reverence, and deep respect. Most haunting were the recollections of Syd's visit to EMI studios, just at the moment Pink Floyd were recording the song Shine On You Crazy Diamond for the Wish You Were Here album, a song written about Syd.
My only dislike, is that there was not more video of the band playing together during that period. But, it is for this reason that I purchased Pink Floyd London 1966-67, also on eBay, which itself merits another review.
