Dries clear but not very hard
I used this to attach a plastic watch glass. Another family member used it to attach a metal stud to a silver earring. In both cases, the glue did not seem to harden fully and was not entirely satisfactory. On the piece of card that I mixed the two components together, it was still somewhat soft and sticky a couple of days later. I know there are different versions of Araldite. This one seemed not so good. The advantage is that it dries clear.

love this compact phone
I love this phone. It is smaller than many - a good size for a jacket pocket. There is an understated, unflashy quality about it - but all its functions work very well. One unusual feature is that if you squeeze the edges, the google assistant appears. Voice quality and voice recognition are excellent. The strongest feature of this phone is its remarkable camera - again nothing flashy, just one lens, but all the pictures I have taken look wonderful, lovely colours and very clear details. The google pixels are renowned for their excellent cameras. Battery life is good enough - for me it lasts at least a day - and it can go into battery saving mode. Even though the phone was launched in 2017, it updated easily to Android 11.

Excellent refurbished computer system
This is an older computer, previously used in an office setting, that has been refurbished, with a new processor, RAM, and hard drive - a monitor and keyboard and speakers are included. It runs extremely well, with a new copy of Windows 10. It is a desktop computer, which is much more comfortable and pleasant to use than any kind of laptop (all of which are horrible to work with, in my view) - but of course it is not particularly portable. It is not pretty or elegant but is a very good workhorse for use in a fixed location. You do not choose the original brand of the computer or the monitor - but for a refurbished machine that is fairly irrelevant. If you wish to make video calls, you need to buy a computer camera and microphone - but these cost next to nothing these days. This is a bargain, and moreover a very good use for older computers that can be upgraded for a wonderful new lease of life. I have two of these machines, in different locations, and love them.
